The Montsec is the perfect place to enjoy the sky through the Parc Astronòmic Montsec (PAM), an open window to the universe that brings the visitor closer to the fascinating world of science and to the discovery of life origins. The mountain ranges are the perfect place for hikers that want to enjoy a rough but exceptionally beautiful nature. A lot of spaces seem specially made for going rambling by foot, by horse or by bike. Fishing is perfect for resting and enjoying the calm waters and the silence. Hunting, especially bird hunting, is also possible in a lot of game reserves.
To practice exciting adventure sports
A paradise for practicing adventure sports: hang-gliding and paragliding at the Àger and Meià valleys, climbing on the cliffs of Terradets, roca Regina, roca dels Arçs or Sant Llorenç; speleology in the caves and potholes of the Montsec and canyoning at the amazing Forat de Bulí.
Water is the perfect framework for the practice of sports like canoeing, windsurfing, jet ski… at the incomparable reservoirs of Camarasa, Canelles, Santa Anna, Sant Llorenç i Rialb.
